Q Pootle 5, written by children's book author Nick Butterworth, follows the adventures of a small friendly alien and his friends on the planet Okidoki.
A special length TV feature, Pootle All The Way, was also created following the success of the first series.

The series of Q Pootle 5 was one of my first projects in lighting and rendering at Blue-Zoo, with a total of 52 episodes created. The series was rendered in Maya using Mental Ray.
